Soundwave is a bit of a unique mech, even in his own canon. He's considered the Spymaster of the Decepticons, and has earned that reputation by having 'eyes and ears' everywhere. He records all data that he can get at, and any that's locked behind another system, he tries to hack into. Usually, he can do this remotely ( i.e.; through the web ) but if it's really interesting, or he deems it important enough, he may try to hack into it via hardware.

IF YOU DO NOT WANT HIM TO BE ABLE TO REMOTELY HACK, THAT IS PERFECTLY FINE. Please, just be aware that he's ridiculously good at finding out what he wants to know.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU:

1; Do you want Soundwave to be able to creep on your character' s computer/device? If so, could he access conversations, or text messages marked "locked"?

2; Is it alright for Soundwave to send small mini-cons ( automated drones ) into your character's worlds once he learns about world hops and spy on your characters?

I realize number 2 is a bit difficult, but if you're alright with it, then I would be forever grateful! Please be aware that just saying "no" to number 2 is perfectly fine, and understandable!

1. Sure! He's free to access anything locked, the only time I specifically wouldn't want this to occur, I would mark it with something like "unhackable" to distinguish.

2. It's fine with me. He probably wouldn't find anything too interesting in Lima, though.

Do I even have to answer this for Breakdown?

(aka as good as he is with computers most the time he won't be able to keep Soundwave out and I will mark it as unhackable if he does a really good job about it. And... if Soundwave doesn't have a mini-con watching him I would only think it is because he is close enough to the real thing to be watched that way.)

1) Yes for all my characters, unless marked "unhackable" and the only one who is able to do that is Cinderella. My other three characters are not very computer savvy.

1. No. She...doesn't typically lock things, though, even when she should.
2. No. Her world is locked unless a character has IC permission and the permission only lasts for one time.

1. Sure, go ahead. Jak's the only one who even knows someone in his world who'd be able to make an unhackable post, and he's not telling them about the community.
2. I'll have to get back to you for Zel. Yes for Jak, but be warned that if they get spotted they'll probably be attacked. Jak's world doesn't have a great history with robots.

2. Probably! Though he lives in kind of a mafia-bar with a fairly competent group of underlings, so if mini-cons are visible to the naked eye, his crew members may eventually notice/pass word to him if they stand out. I don't know his canon so I'll trust your judgement on that.

1) Sure and probably, unless the other half of the locked conversation would have ways around it (Doc Scratch comes to mind). However, I'm not sure how it would work for conversations that take place outside of the community and whether SBURB would cause any problems.

2) I imagine he could send them but I'm not sure how the game world would react to them - whether they would get immediately destroyed as something that isn't supposed to be there. And working around that would probably mean hacking into SBURB code itself which for me I'd prefer not to happen because that could cause all manner of problems but I'm happy to go with the majority so if the others think it's doable then I'll go with that.

Fffff, I hope you don't mind me getting a little specific. ;;

1. Yes to both for killerbaseball, madeitsquare and zach_is_with_me. As for docfoul, since he is kind of... nearly omnipotent, the stuff he marks as locked is 100% unhackable. óuò

2. Just as above, absolutely for the first three (though they are bound to notice them eventually and Shelly in particular will try to get rid of them), and Soundwave's free to try and do the same with Doc Scratch, although since he is also nearly omniscient, he will invariably notice and destroy them.

1. Perfectly okay for anything unless it's marked with "unhackable", and that rarely happens because Rei doesn't care half the time. 8| Trevor has no idea how half this new-fangled technology-magic stuff works. That's his wife's area of expertise, not his.

2. For Trevor, since Tamara said it's okay, it's fine for CV world, but for Rei, I'm going to have to say nope. It's kinda like with the Weiss boys, Rei wants to try and keep his Makai Knight stuff on the DL, though people already know about it. It's more that there would be a lot of repercussions if any of his superiors found out what was going on. :x
